Dosage and Administration
Poxet 30 (Dapoxetine) comes in tablet form. Each one contains 30mg of the active ingredient and should be administered by mouth with a glass of water. Following a medical examination, your doctor will decide whether or not this medicine is safe and suitable for you. Adults are usually told to start out with 30mg, administered 1 to 3 hours before intercourse. If 30mg does not prove effective, see your doctor. It is possible that your dosage may be adjusted to 60mg per day. However, patients must not take more than one dose in every 24 hour period.
Side effects
Side effects which may occur after taking Poxet 30 (Dapoxetine) include:
- Vertigo
- Sleep problems
- Blurring of eyesight
- Sickness or stomach discomfort
- Low sex drive or erectile problems
Make sure that you inform the doctor of all side effects that occur during treatment. Other reactions are also possible, and some of these could be serious. Get medical help straight away if you suffer from sudden dizziness or drowsiness, depression, visual problems or any other severe reactions that have not been listed here.
Precautions
This medication is not suitable in use for men suffering from ED (erectile dysfunction) who are taking certain medicines to treat their ED. Talk to your doctor about this before starting treatment.
Patients who are affected by or who have suffered from bipolar disorder should not take this medicine.
Seek immediate emergency medical attention if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms to watch for, which may be indicative of a reaction, include skin rashes, hives, swelling of the face or limbs, trouble breathing, and trouble swallowing.
Always use Poxet 30 (Dapoxetine) as you have been prescribed by your doctor. Never self-medicate or change your dosage without first consulting your doctor. The correct dosage can vary depending on your health, medical history, and the severity of the condition being treated.
This medication may not be safe for all patients. Before you begin using it always disclose the following to your doctor:
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you suffer from any allergies.
- If you suffer from any other health conditions or illnesses.
- If you are using any other medicine (including all non-prescription).
- If you are using any supplements, vitamins, or herbal products of any kind.
